The cooler temps and gray skies are here, but there are still plenty of fun and free indoor and outdoor family events and activities in Hamilton County this weekend to boost your mood.
Saturday is all about LibraryCon! at the Fishers Library. All the details are below as well as a few of the other top events happening this weekend.
If you have extra time, I recommend visiting the Children's Garden at Coxhall Gardens. My daughter and I took a guided tour on Thursday, and the place is incredible. I cannot believe we had never been there before!
Also, if you missed the Annual Model Railroad Meet at the Carmel Library last weekend, check out our recap.
SATURDAY
Hand Sewn Drawstring Dice Bags - Fishers Library
This activity is open all day long in the Ignite Studio at the Fishers Library. I had a blast making my own dice bag last Friday while the kids molded clay from the studio kits.
Library Con! - Fishers Library
Stop by the Fishers Library from 10AM – 2PM for a variety of workshops, live performances, games, crafts, vendors, artists, and more in an all-ages event celebrating fandom and geeky goodness! Check out the selfie station, 360° video booth, open gaming, 3D needle felting, trivia, face painting, temporary tattoos, dancing, music, parade, and so much more. The full list of activities and details can be found here.
