We are in the home stretch of craziness before winter break begins.

Every evening during park hours throughout the holiday season
Get some fresh air and movement while experiencing the holiday walking light tour throughout the Federal Hill Commons event lawn, including three displays with the perfect
holiday photo opportunity.
December - Holland Park
January - Cumberland Park
Enjoy some movement and fresh air while reading. Each month, a children's book is featured on a Fishers Parks trail or walking path to enjoy during an easy, quarter-mile hike.
Books are available all month long during park hours (rain or shine).
December 16 - 29 during library hours
Drop In to Ignite and create your own small box for gift-giving. Step-by-step instructions and colorful origami paper will be provided for patrons to make a decorative box with lid. Ages 5+.
December 23 - January 3 during library hours
Stop by Ignite while supplies last to pick up a pack of materials for a quick and easy Creativebug class from home. The materials will be enough to participate in "One Square at a Time: Making Art on a Grid," a meditative and engaging drawing class. Creativebug requires a HEPL library card in order to use. Recommended for ages 11+.
December 30 - January 12 during library hours
Drop in to Ignite to make an abstract paper mobile inspired by Cincinnati based artist Jessica Wolf of Paper Acorn. Materials and step-by-step directions will be provided while supplies last in Ignite. Ages 5+.
December 18 - 19, 4 - 9 PM

Experience the authentic German tradition of Christkindlmarkt! Enjoy delicious German food and beverage offerings from over 60 huts, shop for unique gifts, and enjoy holiday music. Watch German artisans and craftsmen demonstrate their creations right in front of you, and let your children enjoy crafts, characters and music in the Kinderecke.

Ride the free Carmel Holiday Trolley. It's a huge hit with the kids and stops at all the fun places for festivities, shopping, and dining in the Arts & Design District, Indiana Design Center and City Center Carmel. Check out our video with additional details.
